Over the weekend our baby chicks have changed so much. They have grown feathers on their wings and are quite a bit bigger. This afternoon we are going to have them out on the carpet. We hope they won’t poo everywhere!

Dear Year 3,
We have had so much fun looking after the chicks for the last two weeks haven’t we? My favourite times were when we got them out on the carpet, especially during choir when we sany lullabyes and made them all doze off! I wish that I could be there to say goodbye to them, so you’ll have to do that for me. Take photos so you can show me how big they got.
I hope play rehearsals are going well and that you’ve all got your costumes sorted out. If not don’t worry because we can sort final bits out on Monday and Tuesday.
See you after the weekend when hopefully I’ll be lots better.
